EMG provides wholesale and retail natural gas supply solutions across Australia, supporting industrial, commercial and distribution-connected users.
Operating across both spot market (WA only) and firm contract arrangements, EMG structures competitive packages tailored to consumption profile, risk appetite and operational requirements. Our scale and market position enable discreet participation, strong counterparty relationships and flexible commercial terms.
In Western Australia, EMG manages almost half of all natural gas traded in the market. In the Eastern States, EMG is developing a portfolio of pipeline and supply arrangements along with the necessary licences to support retail and wholesale trading activities.

Mike is the Founder of Project Consulting Services (1991) and Energy Matrix Group (2017). Under his leadership, EMG has grown into one of Western Australia’s largest gas trading, transport and specialist energy management organisations. He brings long-standing industry experience and a clear focus on building integrated, market-leading energy businesses.

Mike is a trusted energy executive with more than 25 years’ experience across commercial, investment, infrastructure, policy, regulation and compliance. He joined EMG in 2023, bringing broad sector expertise and a strategic, commercially focused perspective.

Allan is an energy procurement and strategy specialist: with more than 30 years’ experience across WA’s energy sector, working with key generation, transmission and trading organisations. He brings deep industry knowledge and a strong track record in contract negotiation and commercial strategy, and has been with EMG since 2012

Adam is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ experience across taxation, financial reporting, modelling, systems control and compliance spanning multiple industries. Formerly a Partner in his own accounting firm, he joined EMG in 2025, bringing deep financial expertise and a practical, detail-oriented approach.
